May 07, 2018

Ice-cream lovers take a moment to check your fridge. The brand Coles is recalling Coles Mini Classic 360mL 6 pack in the Vanilla and Almond flavors for concerns it may contain metal.

“These have been recalled from Coles Supermarkets, Coles Express and Coles Online in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory,” states one source.

Coles is a popular brand in Australian supermarkets. The following dates for the above-stated flavors were provided:

“The vanilla flavor has been recalled for best before dates of April 16 and 17, 2020.

“The almond flavor has been recalled for the best before date of April 18, 2020.

“A statement from Coles asserts that 'no other date codes are affected.'”

If you have these in your freezer, please return these to a Coles near you for a complete refund.

“Coles said in a statement that they 'apologize to our customers for any inconvenience.'"

If you feel you may have ingested this product and are concerned, please seek medical attention.
