Tamera Mowry-Housley is thanking everyone for their prayers and support in the wake of the death of her niece. Alaina Housley was one of the victims in the mass shooting late Wednesday night at Borderline bar, according to reports.
After the announcement of Alaina's death Thursday afternoon, Mowry-Housley's co-hosts on "The Real" took to social media offering their condolences the Housley family.
“Unfortunately, Alaina was one of the victims in the mass shooting.. please keep The Housley’s in your prayers at this time,” Loni Love wrote.
“Positive thoughts and prayers to all the families right now waiting to hear about their loved ones from the #borderlinemassshooting.”
In a statement from "The Real," the hosts and crew shared their love for the family and for all who lost a loved one:
“'The Real' is heartbroken for the victims of the senseless tragedy in Thousand Oaks, which included Alaina Housley, the niece of Tamera and Adam Housley,” the statement read.
“We send prayers and strength to all the victims’ families and their community as well as our gratitude to the first responders. We send all our love and our deepest condolences to the Housleys, our family, during this difficult time," the statement read.
Late Wednesday night, a hooded man, wearing all black, stormed the country-music bar during a college night event and killed 12 people with a handgun and a smoke device.
