Taylor Swift is one of those celebrities that people are passionate about. By that, I mean you either ‘LOVE’ her or you hate her. And if you take a look at the number of followers she has on her various social media accounts, it would be a fair statement to say the ‘LOVES’ outweigh the hates.

The 29-year-old music sensation took to Instagram to share the first-ever photo from the set of her latest venture. And now the world can’t stop talking about it!

The photo is not aa flashy one - a selfie standing in front of a screen that simply says, ‘BOMBALURINA.' And a coy little caption: “Meow.”

Not many words, but enough to get the huge message across. It’s official, Taylor Swift is going to the big screen, appearing in the film adaptation of one of the greatest Broadway musicals of all time: ‘Cats.’

And the lithe blonde cutie will be portraying none other than the slinky, sensual feline known as Bombalurina.

Bombalurina is a flirtatious red adult female cat with a white chest and black spots and marks.

The feline vixen “plays a large role in the musical, dancing and singing several solo and duet parts. In the Broadway cast of Cats, Donna King played the role.”

According to the description on IMDb, the movie will be about, “A tribe of cats called the Jellicles must decide yearly which one will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new Jellicle life.”

As you can imagine ‘Swifties’ - the world over - are beside themselves with excitement!!

“I vowed to never see CATS the musical ever again, but Taylor Swift is now in the movie, and I’d just like point out the power she has to make me even DEBATE going to see it”

Other performers reportedly starring in the movie adaptation of the famed Andrew Lloyd Weber musical are Jennifer Hudson, Idris Elba, and James Corden.

The mega-popular songbird also shared a cute video of herself standing outside the set for ‘Cats’ - in complete awe of the fact that it is “fully snowing!”

A true Taylor fan would, at this moment, stand up and dance.
