On Thursday, June 28, Buckingham Palace has released a statement stating that Queen Elizabeth II has fallen ill and she has decided to cancel her appearance at an upcoming event.
The palace said, according to ABC News, that the 92-year-old monarch "is feeling under the weather," and unfortunately won't be able to attend the morning service at St. Paul's Cathedral.
The service is the 200th anniversary of the Order of St. Michael and St. George. The Queen will be represented by The Duke of Kent, who is already in attendance at the event.
Many fans are extremely concerned about her health and the latest news, considering she is in her 90s. But, thankfully, it appears she will turn out just fine.
According to a royal reporter, Rebecca English, there is no need to be concerned. While the Queen is feeling poorly, however, she is not being seen by a doctor and plans to head to Windsor this afternoon.
