All the dignitaries came out for the Queen’s lavish garden party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. And Her Majesty did NOT disappoint.

Amid the lavish surroundings of the historic palace, over 8,000 guests roamed the grounds and rubbed elbows with fellow blue bloods of high society.

Queen Elizabeth led the Royal contingent, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge close behind. All looked impeccable in their alway-impressive couture. Prince Philip was nowhere to be found.

The Queen wore a pastel blue Stuart Parvin dress coat, topped with a matching chapeau by Rachel Trevor Morgan, decorated with gorgeous pink flowers.

Kate looked stunning, as usual, in a “summery pink Alexander McQueen dress, shielding herself from the sun in a matching Juliette Botterill hat.

“Prince William looked dashing in a black blazer, red tie, and grey trousers, accessorising his look with a brown cane.”

All three Royals seemed to be utterly enjoying themselves, with each other and with the many luminaries they met throughout the day.

This is the first of many such events the Queen will host during the warm months in the U.K.

“The Queen will welcome more than 30,000 to the grounds of Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Holyroodhouse this summer.

“Around 27,000 cups of tea, 20,000 sandwiches and 20,000 slices of cake are consumed at royal garden parties every year.”

“The Queen hosts up to three Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace every summer.” This year, there will be one per month during the Spring/Summer months.

“The first party falls today on May 15, and the next ones will be held on May 21 and May 29 which will also be held at Buckingham Palace.

“The final one will take place on July 3 at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The Queen will be represented by her son, Prince Charles,” at that one.

And we can hardly wait to see the photos!!
