Over the weekend a healthy baby girl has entered this world. Tia Mowry and her husband, Cory Hardrict, welcomed a precious baby girl on Saturday.
Mowry shared the big news Sunday morning by posting a sweet picture on her Instagram page. “Feeling grateful and blessed as we welcome our little baby girl into the world!" she wrote.
The baby was born on May 5 at 10:29 a.m. weighing at 6 pounds and 4 ounces at 19.8 inches long. "We are in heaven," she said.
Mowry and Hardrict have a six-year-old son named Cree. Last November, Mowry shared the news that they were having another child. In January, they revealed that they were having a girl.
"I don't think I could have gotten through this process without the support of my husband," she told "E News." "I think it's really important that someone is there encouraging you, rooting you on, saying you're not alone, helping you feel stronger and more powerful."
Mowry and her sister Tamera Mowry are known for their ABC sitcom, "Sister, Sister," and Tamera can't get enough of her niece.
"You guys she is absolutely stunning and perfect in every way," the proud aunt said on her show, "The Real." "She was 6 pounds, 4 ounces. She is very petite. But she is so girly! Everything symmetrically is, like, perfect."
"And Aiden (Tamara's son) already had this sense to be protective," she continued. "We were talking, and she was sleeping, and Aden was like, ‘Shhh, shhh.'"
