Beloved ‘Carol Burnett’ Star Takes Final Breath After Lengthy Illness; Fans Heartbroken At Loss Of TV Legend

The beloved funnyman, Tim Conway, 85, best known for his many memorable appearances on ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ has passed away after suffering from dementia for several months.

He was the subject of a lengthy conservatorship battle among his family members for the better part of a year, with his care ultimately being placed in his current wife's hands.

His daughter, Kelly, had argued in court that Conway was not receiving adequate care under Charlene's watch.

Conway married his current wife Charlene in 1984, but he and his first wife, Mary Ann had seven children together during their 17-year marriage that lasted from 1961-78: Jaime, Tim Jr., Pat, Corey, Shawn, Jackie, and Kelly.

Tim Conway Junior is the host of a popular radio program on KFI-AM 640 in Los Angeles.

Conway is best known for his many appearances on the beloved variety show, ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ in which his appearance was sure to cause his co-stars to break character and laugh uncontrollably.

He also appeared as Ensign Parker in the 1960s Comedy ’McHale’s Navy.’

Conway received four Emmy awards during his career, three of which were from his performances on 'The Carol Burnett Show.'
