Some devastating news has come in recently. We are asking our readers to pray for the family as they go through this difficult time.
On Wednesday, July 3, Tina Turner's eldest son, Craig Raymond Turner, has passed away, according to reports. He was 59 years old.
A Los Angeles County Department Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed to "Variety" that Craig died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The "What's Love Got To Do With It" singer's son was found dead inside his home in Studio City, California Tuesday afternoon.
Craig was born in 1969 to 18-year-old Tina Turner and her then-boyfriend, Raymond Hill. Eventually, Tina met her first husband, Ike Turner, who later adopted Craig.
Throughout Craig's life, Ike and Tina had a rocky relationship. There would often be physical abuse reports then, sadly, led Tina to attempt suicide herself. Ike and Tina divorced in 1978.
When Craig got older, he worked as a real estate agent in the San Fernando Valley. He worked for the Rodeo Realty in Beverly Hills.
He is survived by his mother and his biological half-brother, Ronnie. Tina has not yet commented on the devastating news.
Will you join us in praying for the Turner family and all that are involved? In other news, a famous pro athlete was involved in a fatal car crash. Please pray for the family.
