Truck Crash Spills Hundreds of Beer Kegs Onto Pennsylvania Highway

April 10, 2018

If you think you were having a bad day, check out what happened to one unlucky truck driver in Pennsylvania.

On an I-95 overpass in Bensalem, Pennsylvania this morning, a tractor-trailer carrying hundreds of beer kegs fell off the bridge after a car rammed into it.

Miraculously, neither the truck driver nor the other driver were injured in the accident.

However, hundreds of empty beer kegs and containers were littered all over I-95 when the trailer burst open during the crash.

State Police closed the highway for nearly two hours and commuters were urged to avoid the area as major delays were expected.

An investigation is underway as to what exactly caused the incident.

Cleanup crews worked hard to remove the hundreds of metal kegs that littered the highway.

“We have a trailer that is broken in three to four different places. We’ll have to cut it apart on scene here, but first, we have to get it to a safe working place before we can do anything else,” said Chuck Matthias of Rob’s Automotive.

Fans of adult beverages will be relieved to know that all the containers were empty and not a drop of liquid was spilled.
