Cristy Caserta, 38, a lawyer who was a contestant on season 15 of the hit ABC reality television show, "The Bachelor," has died. While attending a training class in Sunrise, Florida, Caserta slumped over unconscious on her desk.
“The students around her noticed her coffee fell to the ground and thought maybe she fell asleep, but she was unresponsive when they approached her,” Officer Fernandez says, according to "US Weekly." “They called 911, and Fire Rescue showed up and started CPR, and she was still unresponsive.”
Caserta was rushed to Westside Regional Medical Center and was pronounced dead while she was there. She passed away just before 9 a.m. on Thursday, according to "PageSix."
According to her family, Caserta was in good health before she died. An autopsy report found no evidence of trauma, said Sunrise Police Department spokesman Luis Fernandez. Toxicology results are still pending.
Caserta described herself as "an easy-going South Florida girl," who appeared to enjoy travel and spending time with friends, according to her social media sites.
