Missing 12-Year-Old Girl Found in Florida

Mount Dora Police have reported that they have found a missing 12-year-old girl from Lake County, Florida.

 

Joscelyn Delong went missing after an unknown woman picked her up after school.

 

Mount Dora Police will release more information once the investigation is complete.

 

A missing child alert was issued for the 12-year-old Lake County girl earlier this week when she went missing in the morning at the beginning of the school day.

 

 

She was last seen on the 1400 block of East Lincoln Avenue in Mount Dora wearing dark blue jeans and a lime green long-sleeved shirt, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).

 

A police spokeswoman said that an unknown female picked her up at 9:05 a.m. School officials described the woman as a non-custodial parent and the girl was not believed to be in danger.

 

The van being driven by the woman was teal colored and a teal colored van was found at a residence in Leesburg, Florida in the afternoon, but the girl was nowhere to be seen.

 

So far, the FDLE has not revealed the unidentified woman’s age or relationship with the missing girl.
