Update: After a lengthy police chase, suspect Armando Juarez, 29, is in police custody after shooting two police officers and a security guard at a Home Depot in Dallas, Texas.
The officers have been identified as Crystal Almeida and Rogelio Santander. Sadly, it has just been announced that officer Santander has passed away as a result of a gunshot wound to the head.

The police chase took officers through downtown Dallas, where Juarez shot at officers in pursuit while he was driving.
Juarez pleaded guilty to the theft of a car last November and a warrant was out for his arrest after skipping a sentencing hearing in February.

Two Dallas Police Department officers have been critically wounded at a Home Depot store in Dallas, Texas.
A security guard was also shot in the incident in north Dallas, police officials have confirmed.

“We can confirm that two Dallas PD officers have been shot and critically wounded. We will provide updates as we get them. Please pray for our officers and their families,” said the Dallas Police Department on Twitter.
The two Dallas officers were helping a security guard who was responding to an incident at the store. The two officers are reportedly a man and a woman.
