It’s not often we get to see a one on one interview with Queen Elizabeth. The Queen usually communicates via an official statement or a few sentences at an event but not a long conversation.
For an ITV program called “The Queen’s Green Planet,” Queen Elizabeth had a full conversation with Sir David Attenborough as they strolled through the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
Those who are in contact with the royals every day often remark on the Queen’s sense of humor and sharp wit, but this is rarely seen in public.
Sir Attenborough points out a sundial conveniently placed in the shade and the Queen laughs and says, “Had we thought of that? That it was planted in the shade, it wasn’t in the shade originally, I’m sure? Maybe we could move it?”
As they continue to talk in the garden, a helicopter flies overhead. “Why do they always go round and round when you want to talk?” the Queen remarked. “Sounds like President Trump. Or President Obama.”

If you are wondering about the strangely placed sundial, it has now been transplanted into a spot in the garden where it is no longer in the shade, according to the Palace’s Head Gardener.
