Last week on April 22nd, George W. Bush was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital. Many were deeming his condition a life-threatening one. This occurred the day after his wife, Barbara Bush’s death.
Recent updates suggest he is recovering well. Here is a tweet about his condition:
According to the family spokesman, Jim McGrath, Mr. Bush acquired an infection that made its way into his bloodstream. This sadly led to a bad case of sepsis, which, when left untreated, can lead to sepsis or death.
The Mayo Clinic states, "If sepsis progresses to septic shock, blood pressure drops dramatically, which may lead to death."
For a while there, his blood pressure was dropping dramatically, which lead many to believe he may not make it through. We are happy to report he is doing much better. Praise Jesus!
Will you join us in praying for Mr. Bush and his family? They’ve already lost a lot and we pray Mr. Bush will recover quickly.
In other news, you have to read the letter Barbara Bush’s granddaughter left for her. It is so endearing. Learn more here.
