There’s a Good Reason ‘Fixer Upper’ Ended Mr. Austin—Please Stop Bad-Mouthing Chip and Joanna

May 03, 2018

Many of you probably heard about the opinion piece where a “Mr. Austin” bad-mouthed the budding entrepreneurs, Chip and Joanna Gaines. He basically says there is no way they put family first and reach the level of success they’ve achieved. Well, don't you know they ended Fixer Upper because of their new addition?

Mr. Austin states as, “a writer and small business owner from Orem, Utah,” has decided their commitment to family is a “talking point” and insists “Chip and Joanna Gaines did not get where they are by putting their family first.”

After hearing Mr. Austin’s words, Chip took to social media with a quick-witted response. He states: “I don’t know Daryl, & he clearly doesn’t know me. But for the record: If there is ever a need w/ my family (1st), I’ll shut this circus down so fast it will make your head spin. BUT Jo & I believe, w/ God anything is possible. Including having an amazing family AND career you love.”

What Mr. Austin may not realize in all this is with God...anything is possible. This is clearly what Chip and Joanna have always said. One columnist stated, “For the Gaineses, family and faith make all things possible.”

Here is an endearing interview with the couple about their walk with God and how meeting each other brought out the best in both of them! Seriously cute.

Here is another video of how Joanna trusted the Lord with the Magnolia business and how she took time off to be with her babies. Take that Mr. Austin!

What do you think of what Mr. Austin did? Will you take a moment to let Chip and Joanna know they are doing great in the comments section on Facebook? We think you’re doing great. You are a true inspiration to all Americans!

In other news, Joanna made over her sister Mickey’s home. Check out the transformation here.
