In a bombshell story unveiled in a recent issue of Globe magazine, a royal insider has claimed that all is not well within the Royal Family. And this time the vitriol is between father and son - and their significant others - and the arrival of cute little Prince Louis last April has dredged up all the old animosity that doesn’t look to be going anywhere, any time soon.
The beloved Royal couple reportedly is not happy with Charles and Camilla right now because of their outspoken dislike for some of the parenting techniques that son William and daughter-in-law Kate have been implementing.
In addition, Prince Charles blames Kate’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton for meddling in the way the Prince of Wales’ grandchildren are being raised.
New Idea reports, “GLOBE's outrageous report comes as relations in the royal family are tense, with the question as to who will succeed Queen Elizabeth to the throne playing on their minds.
“Reportedly, Charles has become furious with Kate Middleton's parents Michael and Carole Middleton for putting 'nonsense' in his son's head when it comes to raising his children.”
The claims continue, with GLOBE stating “Prince Charles has insisted he should [have the] final say in how the royal babies are brought up - including George, 5, and Charlotte, 3.”
But that’s not all the publication is claiming a source told them, “The family rift was all too evident when Charles and Camilla neglected to send William and Kate flowers, a note of congratulations, or gifts for their new prince!"
The scathing report goes on to say that William supposedly lashed out at Charles, saying, “You ruined my childhood, but I won't let you destroy Louis' - or George's or Charlotte’s!” And the final nail in the coffin was the ultimatum: “You're banned from seeing any of them!”
According to New Idea, “the royal family is yet to respond to GLOBE's claims.”
If these allegations are true, there may be some troubled times ahead for the Royal Family. We can only hope that the events have been blown all out of proportion and that the two families will work out any grievances they might have with one another in a compassionate, dignified way - the way the Royal Family always seems to handle things of a delicate nature.
We continue to wish the best of everything to the young family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their delightful babies, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
And we hope that the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall find their proper place in this whole situation and behave the way we would expect - as loving and doting grandparents to three of the most adorable children in the world!
