Miller is best known as the backbone for The Gibson/Miller Band. The singer, songwriter, musician, and producer worked alongside legendary musicians including, rock star Bob Seger and soul legend Isaac Hayes.

"I'm devastated," wrote India.Arie, a close friend of Millers. She later described Miller as her "mentor, guitar hero, and songwriting partner."

"(Miller) never let me down not ONCE, and was so kind, and open and always professional. Blue was TRULY my favorite musician in the world," she continued on her Instagram page.

Born William Mueller, he grew up surrounded by musicians in Detroit. Before he was a teenager, Miller decided to pick up a guitar and give it a go. As the years went by, he developed into an A-list musician playing alongside artists such as Blake Shelton, David Ruffin, Gladys Knight, and superstar Bob Seger.

Miller's well-known hit songs included, "High Rollin," "Texas Tatoo," "Stone Cold Country," and "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" which appeared on the soundtrack of the 1994 movie, "The Cowboy Way."

After his band broke up, he appeared in records by Ty Herndon, Michael Bolton, Clay Walker, Tanya Tucker, and many more.

According to reports, Miller passed away from complications of a cerebral hemorrhage that began back in January. Will you join us in praying for the Miller family?
