Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma are asking for the public's help in finding a woman who has abducted a 7-year-old girl after stabbing another child, according to reports.
The officers in Tulsa were responding to a 9-1-1 call when neighbors reported a stabbing nearby Monday night. The police arrived at a residence near Apache Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The suspect who police believed to have committed the stabbing and starting a fire is Taheerah Ahmad. She is said to be in her 30s or 40s.
There was another child at the home, a 9-year-old girl who witnessed some horrendous acts of Ahmad. She told police that she saw her duct-tape the hands of the children, put socks inside their mouths, and then stabbed the 11-year-old girl. She was able to escape from the home.
The 7-year-old girl is said to still be with the suspect and police say her name is Hafsa Hailey Ahmad. The vehicle police believe she is in is a black 2005 Lexus RX300. The vehicle may have a paper tag, or she may be in a blue Ford sedan with paper tags.
Ahmad is described as a black female, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 190 pounds. She has lived in Texas and Tennessee before and police do not know where she might be headed or if she has connections in these locations.
Ahmad is the mother of the 11-year-old girl who was stabbed. She is currently in critical condition. Will you join us in praying for her and that the other child is found safe?
