Mid-Air Scare: Woman Yells "I am God" and Tries to Open Cabin Door (VIDEO)

Recently, a United Express airplane was traveling from San Francisco to Boise, Idaho where a frightening encounter happened. A middle-aged woman flying in first-class rose from her seat and had a terrifying outburst.

According to KBOI, witnesses noticed the woman acting strangely. She appeared to be extremely nervous, and apparently, she had caused a scene ever before boarding the plane.

“She wasn’t acting right, or normal, from the very beginning,” Scott T. Smith, a California man who was seated behind the woman, told the Idaho Statesman.

Smith said that the woman appeared to have a companion with her and both appeared anxious. Smith believed that they just didn't like the idea of flying, so he put in his noise-canceling headphones and watched a movie.

It all happened so fast. The woman got up and rushed to open the cabin's emergency exit door mid-way through the flight while screaming, "I want to die! Get me off this plane!"

A female flight attendant was making drinks in the back when the woman rushed past her trying to open the door. Witnesses said that the flight attendant struggled to keep the woman away from the door.

Thankfully, several male passengers grabbed the woman and restrained her until the plane landed in Boise, which was about 20 minutes later. One witness told KBOI that the woman said, "God has all the data," "I don't have any data," and "we landed in Boise 15 minutes ago."

Watch the video below:

“SkyWest flight 5449, operating as United Express from San Francisco to Boise, landed safely in Boise after reports of a customer attempting to open the aircraft door,” said Layne Watson, a spokesperson from SkyWest, in a statement. “The customer was restrained, and law enforcement officials met the flight at the gate, where all passengers safely deplaned. The unruly customer was held for questioning by law enforcement.”

The woman has not been identified and is currently being seen at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. While both the Boise Police Department and the FBI are involved, there are no charges filed at this time.
