Youtube Shooter’s True Motive Revealed

April 06, 2018

If you haven’t heard yet, a 39-year-old female shooter named Nasim Najafi Aghdam entered the Youtube headquarters in San Bruno, California on April 3, 2018 at 12:46pm. She wounded three victims and one is still in critical condition. In the end, she ended up taking the 9mm gun to herself.

What you may not have heard is her motive. Apparently, Aghdam stated that Youtube began demonetizing her Youtube channel due to her religious beliefs. She is a Muslim and in the video below, she talks about how her content is still appropriate—despite her beliefs. This caused her to lose the funds she used to make a living.

Agdam also states she repeatedly contacted Youtube about the censorship but nothing was done. In the end, she got so frustrated that she ended up committing the horrible attack that took place on April 3. Many brave first responders luckily made it to the scene within minutes.

Police believe there was no particular target in mind, however, the investigation remains ongoing. Her parents are deeply sorry this happened, releasing a statement to the public:

“Our family is in absolute shock and can’t make sense of what has happened yesterday. Although no words can describe our deep pain for the tragedy, our family would like to express their utmost regret and sorrow for what happened to innocent victims…”
