The confirmed, exciting news has come in about a new royal baby. Zara Tindall, the granddaughter of the Queen, just gave birth to a baby girl on Monday.
Zara and her husband Mike Tindall, are over the moon excited for their newest addition. The baby was born healthy weighing 9 pounds, 3 ounces, a royal family spokesman confirmed. The precious baby was born at Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire.
Zara and Mike are already parents to their sweet 4-year-old girl named Mia. The new baby is 19th in line to the throne and the Queen's seventh great-grandchild. This baby girl is the second cousin of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
"Mrs. Michael Tindall was safely delivered of a baby girl on 18th June, at Stroud Maternity Unit. Mr. Tindall was present at the birth," Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike's parents, Mr. Philip and Mrs. Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news," the Palace continued.
The baby's name has not yet been released but will be confirmed in due time.
